Go fruity slicer GO! :D

i find the title of the song verry ftting. the bass is indeed DnB style, and i guess you could say it about the drums to. you got the skills, no doubt, but my tip would be to go outside the fruityloops folder and find yourself some soundfonts! :] just search for it on google or likewise.

the change of tempo was intresting. but i diddnt feel it do much to be honest. i think this music would be perfect for a city scene of some kind. :) good job all in all, keep it up!

DarthPejka responds:

Cheers!
As a matter of fact, I AM looking for different samples, but I think my best shot will be to buy a sample CD sometime... Until then, I'll have to cope with standard FL samples and try to play with the FX to make them more unique :)
Thanks for the review,
Darth Pejka

woha :D

Really nice loop you got here. i love how it keeps the same melody without really getting boring. i can really see, as the title also points too, a spaceship scene of some kind. i also love the little break :3 if i were ever to make a space movie/game this would sure be in it ^-^

glad to see youre submitting stuff again :3 now that the blamsquad are gone >_> or well they might still be here, but powerless thanks to the new system. anyways, all my 5'ves to you!

cycerin responds:

Thanks for reviewing, buddy. :D Seems like the spaceship thing is a recurring theme in people's visualization of the song - just like I wanted it to be.

woah

this is drum n bass the way it should be. i think the only thing i diddnt like was the little synth melody in the backround, it kinda ruined the whole phump feel to it. otherwhise i love it! the stutter bass and the rollin drums. awesome work :D

PERVOK responds:

Ah, I felt like adding a little melody in the background. To me, it gave that little "bad-ass fighter feel", kind of like an old-school fighter game or something.

Thanks for the review :D

hm

it was really well made, no rough edges or anything, smooth overlaps. but i would place this in trance i think.. the piano was really nicely done :) i am short of words today, so im just gonna finish here.

good job :)

DavidOrr responds:

Hey Waterflame! Thanks for the compliments, it means a lot coming from you!

wohey.

i LOVED the base. no not the bass, but the base of the song. its a perfect underlayer, the hard drums and the bass is ownage, but im afraid the "wicked out of place" synths and the somewhat guitars just made it all a big bolt of noice. if you tried to make the leading instruments alittle more uptoned, and seperated the sounds. at the end its really overkilling, but not in a to positive way. but i can clearly see that you have skill and potential, so keep on making music! :)

DarthPejka responds:

Well I wasn't looking for people giving 10s all the way, THIS is what I wanted to hear. Or rather read.
To the point: yes, I know it sounds rather noisy. There was not an instrument that didn't pass through some sort of distortion. It was the point though ^_^ I'm not at all surprised some people might not like it. I DON't make popular music.
And about the end: the bass makes it sound so... grouchy. Basically it's a bass noise.
Anyways, thanks for the review!

Darth Pejka

ps.: your music rocks!

omg

what to say. i loved it! verry original, i liked the fact that it sounds like the drums is from an old lp. player. and i love the effects.

to give some constructive criticim; only thing that kinda wreaked the song was the blipps. the way they went up on the scale, kinda ruined the harmony of it all, since its a somewhat low down song. other than that, awesome! :D

orange-peel responds:

I kinda agree with you, I feel the high-hat(ish) sounds are too high in the mix and get in the way and make it sound like the track is clipping a bit.
Thanks for the review.

oye!

gave you a 5 :)

your songs is awesome.

but i gotta tell you, to give some constructive criticicm. all your songs sounds like the same song. theres almost no difference what so ever, the songs rock! its not that, just.. try something new, atleast other samples... :S

rock on!

Helix6 responds:

I've said it before, I agree. :) I am working on some different sounds, but unfortunately my tools are limited and I don't have time to shop for music gear. If you have good suggestions where I can find new samples (not loops!) let me know.

give up.

*sigh* give up. im actually 17, so dont you go "kiddo" on me. lol, how do you explain my 3 remix songs? lol. maybe i used "garageband: special remix edition" ;) your arguments are leaking all over. i have the project files for fl5 for ALL my songs, so if you tried to report me, you would be the one getting deleted. ^0^ i guess you are one of those lonely clammed up kids who can't be a man and accept that you've made a mistake. i dont like the people that steal work any more than you do, but im not one of them, and i over 15 NG users to comfirm that. i even got myself a job where i make music... so untill you can prove it, which you will never be able to do; leave me alone. and please give me a SOLID reply, not just "things you think might be true" and then letting your whole "i rule, i have no ability to see my own mistakes" attitude churn out these crappy arguments. the only way you can feel on top of the situation is to call a person of your same age "KIDDO".

Oro responds:

Leave you alone? You're the one constantly harassing me and leaving reviews on all of my songs. You've obviously got your perspective fucked up. As for your e-age, I don't really care. You obviously have the mentality of a 13 year old.

Some of your "original" songs have piano loops straight out of garage band. Somebody sent me a few of "your songs" and then a few loops out of garageband. That was enough for me.

You are too over defensive, because if you didnt have anything to hide, you wouldn't care so much.

making sure you get the message.

ok.. 1) go check garageband, if you find my melody and drums there, ill give you money, 2nd, check fl studio for the string and bass sounds. and 3rd, i can fucking send you the main file. wtf is wrong with you, dont go blamming before you know it. you fucking idiot. :P i know what you mean, ppl that use garageband, music2000 preset etc. pisses me off too, but i can asure you this is my own work. is it so impossible that i made this? i mean, im sorry if your music suck and all but thats your problem, dont be a bitch. get som info first next time *own slap* (btw, i actually like some of your songs... i dont wanna be an ass or anything but dont just asume i use things like garageband. i dont even own the program. and why would i, if all my other songs is from fl? makes no sense..)

Oro responds:

Kids, gotta love 'em.

Anyway, don't even try to lie and cover up because you know you do. Several of your 'original' work, such as piano samples and loops in most of your songs, are straight out of garageband. I don't even care all that much about some kid on the internet who puts together loops and samples of other peoples work and calls it his own, I was merely giving you a reality check. You are not talented, you are a worthless piece of shit, begging for attention. At least my work is original, ( disregarding the Zelda rip and FF rip ) so you have absolutely no room to be telling me that I suck. What I do actually takes time and effort, unlike what you do.

What the fuck is Music2000? You obviously know much more about shitty "music making" programs than I do.

Grow some hair somewhere, kiddo

woo!

sounds like something from a sega genisis military action game :D i myself diddnt like it but its not bad, and its well made :) nice work, keep on rocking.

Kraygh responds:

YOU DIDN'T LIKE IT????? <sigh> ah what do you expect from someone with no music training, no music equipment (aside from Cakewalk Sonar) and who's real job is concrete prodution, and has two kids who... ok no more excuses. Still it's nice to hear from someone who obviously know what they are doing.(all your tracks are terrific). btw I had an SNES back then, not a Genesis :P
