nice enugh

not bad! i felt the drums were sorta skippy tho. they diddnt keep a steady beat, wich kinda ruined it.

good stuff

nice! its wierd, i have a song named butterflies, wich is mostly the same thing as this. not submitted tho. this was a great little loopable piece. could be used in almost any rpg game. great work :)

VegetarianMeat responds:

Thanks for the review. If ever you decide to submit the song send me a link :)

wow :D

Great work! remidns me of many things, but still keeps its originality! i feel like its perfect for any lava themed place in almost any game. i really liked it! great work :) 5'ed

snayk responds:

:D

Thanks for the review! I'm glad you liked it.

nice!

its a awesome ambience piece. it could be used for almost anything, i really liked how everything was a bit distorted, but not so that it ruined the song. great work :) 5'ed

ooooh! chuggy <3

this reminds me of those oldschool soundtracks from a bit more mature racing games, for some reason. i love this kind of Heavy metal, i was afraid you would kick in some kind of voice, cus that would probabbly ruin the song for me. but you diddnt :D i loved it at the end. cant really say much more, other than outstanding job!

boneheadandbrockely responds:

uhh thanks man thats good i never like putting singing in my songs
i will soon but i need a singer no 1 will sing

not bad :D

it got better than i expected it to, i think this would do much better with other samples tho. the melodies were great tho :D it just need some polishing here and there. i loved it when the song took a break and only had the guitar as a buildup.

Tx-Maniac-xT responds:

Thanks. 'The Lost Tide' is the techno version of this song. Go check it out if haven't already. It might be more your speed. Thanks again.

Chip-breaky

This song really gave me a positive suprise, i love how its full of suspense and how its kinda ominous, but witout ever kicking it into full action. wich makes it unique. the title fits the song really well. it wassnt so much of a listen song as it was a bacround song, but sometimes thats just good. i could see this beeing used while you have your last chat with the final boss in a 2D game. :D keep at it!

blackduckie responds:

The "Chip-breaky" thing in this song kinda just came out of nowhere, while I was experimenting with phaser automation. I actually attempted at giving the song some breakdown into a sort of DnB a few times, but it just came along in a way which doesn't really seem to fit any genre. I try to keep my music from being really repetitive, because I know what it's like to hear a really cool beginning to something and just hear it repeated over and over again until it's just annoying, and I don't want that to happen with anything I make. (Though it has happened with some of my older songs.) I do improvise, though. A lot. I can never really think of anything I make as "background music" when I've just finished making it, because while you're making it, you have to listen to it, but I know what you mean. And it does sound a bit empty; it could do with some unrelated sound effects over the top, which brings me the 2D game thing you mentioned. I don't know about a final boss battle, but I like that idea! :D And I usually spend a fair amount of time with a dictionary and thesaurus to find the titles for my songs, but this one was just kind of random.
Anyway, thanks for the review, I was surprised to see one from you, as you're one of my favourite artists, thanks!

ahh ^^

untill the other guitar kicked in, this reminded me alot of the um.. town theme for the first town in final fantays 8. cant remember the name right now >_> this was really nice and relaxing :) i liked it alot! its kinda sad, in a way..

k-309 responds:

well, i'll take your word on that one lol. not too familiar with final fantasy. thanks for the review =]

hmm :)

sounds like a perfect intro! altho it loops well im kinda bummed out about this beeing a loop and not the intro of something awesome. wich i know you could do, if you made this! :D it can still be used in many flash projects tho, so its a really nice contribution to the site. good work

=D nice

reminds me of an rpg map track or something similar. not bad! the drums could have been stronger, but then again maybe that would ruin it? not really my style, but its well made and sounds good! :D great work on this one :)

giovanni808 responds:
