i would agree with the title fitting the song perfectly. i liked how it almost sounded tribal in a way without leaving the style at all. nice tabla/bongo drums :D this is a soothing and nice track. i dunno if pepole actually remember the red alert sountrack for what it really was, but this certanly reminds of the songs. in a good way! if i were to give any constructive criticism it would be that the bass sounded a bit to distorted compared to the style of the song. all in all, great work! :D

i normaly think the songs lack something, but this one was one of the songs you have made that intrested me. i really liked it actually. i think it was the pizzicato-like synths, and i loved the accords :D good job on this one! looped 4 times already ;P

finally some new high quality music in the trance section :D im not to tecnical today so i wont do much giving you constructive criticicm. but the whole drive of the song was really well made, this is how its supposed to be done :D and great mastering aswell!

aww man this is great! :D it should be the credits song to an awesome platformer. i really liked it :D in my opinion this is the best one in the MAC. great work! cant really find anything wrong with it, alittle wierd at parts but thats about it it. go go :D

heres me reviewing! XD well this beats every other song in orginality for sure. i really like it, its true to style in every way aswell! only thing to point out that might break the style was that there was too much bass in the kicks. other than that i seriously can find anything wrong with this. i loved the melody and can totally see this beeing used in a snowboard/ski/xmas quest game for an old console. the beginning reminded me of flicker X)
one last thing tho, i dont see why you called the song that, since, it might confuse so many, even tho it says in despcription, it fooled me the first 15 sec or so. ah well its no biggie... well, nothing left to say but; this deserves 1 place. in my opinion this is the best one in the MAC so far. keep at it :D 5/5 9/10

I got a PM from darkside about weather my drums were 8-bit enough, haven't heard from him yet, though.
Ahh, the name of the song, well, snowboard kids was the inspiration for the tune, I probably could've changed back to the original title "winter division" (that seems the logical choice), but, yeah, it's not the most important part of the song.
1st place? Wow, that means a lot coming from you, but your song is seriously in contention, the best cover, at least. I think we'll see some good entries coming in the last few days of the comp.

i liked the industrial sounds alot, but simply not how they were put together. the whole song lags behind making it sound more like some machine that got jammed rather than techno.. nice try tho :)

i can hear that you used music 2000, thats probably why this never got any atention. you diddnt make any of this, you just put it together.. better luck next time tho

i suppose you go and record sounds and have never used a sample program have you...or a drum machine...and BTW it wasnt music 2000 i wouldnt use such a low grade sample mixer.

thats a insanely sweet drumriff you got there :D the rest was also good ofcource, but the drums really had me. awesome effects too, but maybe alittle loud compared to the other songs. i see you used the usual bassline ;D well, to me its usual anyways, back in the days i always used that. anyways, nice start violin aswell! i feel the synth kinda steal all the atention tho, but thats just my opinion. keep up the great work! damit those drums man. lol

Especially since garageband screwed up my volume during compression.D:< I'll definitely try to work on my balance in future songs and not just have one instrument steal all the attention. woah o.O this is really nice. it kinda reminds me of the snowy multiplayer level from the timesplitters series. i love how the drums are mastered, they are perfectly placed and serves its purpose without overkilling the rest of the song. i diddnt know you did such awesome tracks :D im kinda ashamed not to visit your audio page sooner. one thing tho, is this a remix of one of your songs, or someone elses? cause i dont know the original, in any case. but this was really well made, and a pleasure to listen to! altho i diddnt like the trance leads so much, they were maybe a bit to controling and hard. otherwise, a great submition!

Glad you like it! :D Personally I like the drums too - they were a bit tricky to master so I'm glad you think they came out well! And don't feel ashamed, it's not like I'm particularly famous or anything here on NG, right? Though I'd definitely like to be. ;D This is a remix of an older song of mine I submitted last April, though not in the usual sense - this also represents the direction I originally was planning to take the song, if it weren't for the lack of resources and skill level, and the fact that it took off in a completely different direction the first time. :D Hmm, that lead of mine seems to be something some people like, and some people don't. Personally I'm fine with it (why else would it be in this song, right? ;D) but, ah well. Not every song is perfect. :P Thanks for reviewing! :)

this melody is from another song o.O i dont remember the name of the song but, they sing something about dancing and having sex in a car. lol, anyways, if this was a intended remix, good work! but you have to write it in the description, or else pepole could really get pissed =/
