bitchin'!

I only owned the demo of ares, but played it enough to get a nostalgic feeling from this piece. i love the deep bass and how you managed to keep that cheesy feeling the original has. yet this is ten times better.

If done right, there's nothing better than a classic re-visited. And you really made this one right :D this should get more attention.

oh my god

amazing work! i love the feeling and flow, it just gets better and better. i have nothing bad to point out in this piece, cept a bit mastering problems around some of the most intense parts. keep up the great work!

steveori responds:

Hi and thanks for the review!
I really appreciate the kind words. :)
I know, the mastering issues really annoyed me too, it's actually partly the fault of the VSTi's I use, they're free and as such aren't perfect, for example the flute and oboe start clipping when they hit the higher notes. :(
Oh well, I shall have to invest in some higher quality VSTi's if ever get the money! :D

Cheers
Steve

Awesome piece of industrial sounding electro beats :D liked it, sets a mood ^^ i can imagine alot of things this could be backround for! rock on

Sandwhich-lord responds:

Cheers dude.

hoy..

Not tooooo shabby... A bit raw, seems midi, almost. but it sets a mood. and the piano hits some wrong keys tho, might need to work on that too. all in all a nice go at FL. you have potential, practice more! ^^

silentsilver1 responds:

wow ty! it means alot that you would critique my work. you are one of my favorites here on NG. my main problem is basically i don't really know how to work FL yet. just basics. Hopefully i'll get some good plug-ins and learn how to do the mastering part of FL. but thank you again for reviewing :)

not bad!

Really classic, but the formula still works as ever, ofcource ^^ could have used less filtering, makes the kick kinda dull. None the less, nice work, keep it up!

Chimy727 responds:

wow thanks!
really awesome hearing from you haha!!
i shall still fix some of this to make it more dancey!
thanks again!

jmerk800 responds:

WOW! Thanks! I have to say I am a big fan of your work! So it means a lot coming from you, thank you.

Nice!

i really enjoyed it, nice one! but you could have used maybe a bit more variation, like another main melody to variate with :) and i think the snare was a tad to hard, apart from that, it was exelent! great work :) really catchy melody.

so does the wolf wanna eat the rabit or sex it?

I love this song! ^-^ i listened to the unfinished loop atleast 50 times. helped me get to work without sleep the night before :D its so cute :3 I wached Nu Pogodi as a kid, its quite a fucked up show. anyways, nothing to complain about here really :D its awesome. a happy tune with lots of variation! and hush you down there :P i like the ending
